EMDR is an eight phased protocol that uses a set of procedures to organize feelings, thoughts, sensations, and beliefs. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation to help your brain do this by using eye movements, tapping, or other BLS techniques. 
 
EMDR is recognized as an evidenced-based treatment by several premier organizations including the American Psychological Association, the World Health Organization, SAMHSA, and The Department of Veteran Affairs.
